Phil Hornsey

Phil is a musical director, choir master, educator and composer.

His work as a musical director has taken him around the country (and beyond) on musicals and pantomimes. He won Showtime on Sunday's Music Score of the Season award for his work on Peter Pan at the Sheffield Lyceum in 2018. Previous compositions include Christmas oratorio, Prepare The Way and children's musical One, Two, Three Little Pigs. Phil has a long history of running choirs and working with the voice and his kind and warm approach is infectious with his members.

UK Soul Choirs is a professionally run inclusive community choir operating across South East London and Kent. There are no auditions, and no experience is necessary to come try us out. Members get to learn and sing great songs each week and perform with professional musicians in an end-of-term performance. We offer fully inclusive online learning resources, a community-led social programme and a range of membership plan options to suit member's different priorities.
