Eleanor Wilson

Alto Eleanor is an outstanding vocalist and pianist and has a busy career performing across the UK and teaching around Kent. She leads our Rochester Wednesday, King's Hill Monday and Maidstone Tuesdays sessions!

Eleanor Wilson has been singing and teaching professionally for over twenty years and also plays piano, violin and drums and has performed at Wembley Arena and the Royal Albert Hall. She is also a songwriter working with some of the biggest names in the music industry such as Linda Perry, Pam Sheyne and Carl Falk.

Eleanor joined UK Soul Choirs in 2018 when the first Mid Kent choir opened in Rochester. She also leads the Maidstone session on a Tuesday evening and King's Hill on a Monday night. Eleanor is known for her amazing voice, enthusiasm and infectious laugh! She has led the choir at many performances including at the Underbelly festival, Southbank and at Camden Electric Ballroom with Heather Small. We're proud to have Eleanor as a Senior Choir Leader due to her experience, knowledge and dedication.

UK Soul Choirs is a professionally run, inclusive community choir operating across South East London, Kent, and now Manchester. There are no auditions, no sheet music and no experience is necessary to come and try!

We run three 11-week terms across the year, packed with performances, social events, workshops, and choir holidays both at home and abroad. You will learn and sing uplifting songs each week, meet new people and perform in end-of-term shows, community events, and festivals.

We offer fully inclusive online learning resources, a community-led social programme, and flexible membership plans to suit members' different needs.
