Hollie Cassar

Hollie is a highly acclaimed singer - having played the Lead in Calamity Jane on the UK Tour, and multi-instrumentalist / musical director with huge energy and a a passion for singing!

Originally from Malta, Hollie moved to the UK in 2007 after winning the television musical theatre competition L-Isfida, receiving a three-year scholarship to train in London. She went on to complete her training at the Royal Academy of Music. Hollie is an actress, singer

and dancer whose credits include Calamity Jane (UK Tour - cover Calamity); Cabaret (Original West End Revival Cast, Kit Kat Club at the Playhouse); On Your Feet! (Original West End Cast & UK Tour), Crazy for You (Watermill & UK Tour), The Sessions: The Beatles at Abbey Road (Royal Albert Hall & UK Arena Tour).

Alongside performing, Hollie works as a writer, musical director, musical supervisor, musician, choreographer, vocal arranger and singing teacher. Her creative credits include Musical Director & Associate Musical Supervisor for The Choir of Man (West End & International); Musical Director & Vocal Arranger for A Very Bublé Christmas (Kilworth House).

Hollie is a multi-instrumentalist with an ATCL Diploma in Solo Piano. In 2024, she was elected an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music in recognition of her contribution to the music profession.

UK Soul Choirs is a professionally run, inclusive community choir operating across South East London, Kent, and now Manchester. There are no auditions, no sheet music and no experience is necessary to come and try!

We run three 11-week terms across the year, packed with performances, social events, workshops, and choir holidays both at home and abroad. You will learn and sing uplifting songs each week, meet new people and perform in end-of-term shows, community events, and festivals.

We offer fully inclusive online learning resources, a community-led social programme, and flexible membership plans to suit members' different needs.
