The Soul Choirs community is one of the most supportive, uplifting groups you’ll find - united by a shared love of fantastic music. It’s a joy and a privilege to lead every week, watching people shake off the stresses of the daily grind through laughter, connection, and the power of singing together - pure soul therapy.

We’re so excited to launch the Folkestone Soul Choir - right in the heart of this creative, coastal town! Led by the amazing Esme, you'll be welcomed into a fun, friendly space where you can sing your heart out, meet new people, and enjoy 90 minutes of soul-inspired pop each week.

Whether you’re a seasoned singer or just starting out, you’ll be guided through uplifting songs with plenty of laughs along the way. It’s all about community, confidence, and connection.

The Folkestone Soul Choir is part of our growing South Kent network, partnered with our vibrant choirs in Deal (Mondays) and Canterbury (Tuesdays). That means you can attend any of these choirs if you ever need a schedule swap or just fancy a change of scene. Your membership gives you unlimited access across all partner choirs, and since we learn the same material each week, it’s easy to jump in wherever suits you best.

We rehearse in the Cornerstone Centre Hall which is easily accessible by car, bus and train.

PARKING: There is limited onsite parking reserved for our team and blue badge holders. There is free parking available on surrounding roads such as Kingsnorth Gardens and other surrounding roads.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT: The centre is just a 3 minute walk from Folkestone Railway Station and is also easily accessible by local bus routes.

ACCESSIBILITY: This venue is step free with accessible toilets

Please use the CHURCH HALL entrance pictured below rather than the main church entrance.
