Cellist, singer, music therapist, and all-round musical powerhouse, Esme lives for bringing people together through music. Whether she’s leading a choir, jamming with a band, or creating magic in a music therapy session, Esme brings serious heart, soul, and good vibes to everything she does.
Meet Esme Bray - She kicked things off as an Actor Musician, then followed her love for music all the way to an MA in Music Therapy at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Since then, she’s performed everywhere from Cadogan Hall and the Southbank Centre to festivals and galleries across the UK. You might’ve even heard her on a track or two - Esme’s recorded both cello and vocals with loads of bands and singer-songwriters.
What really drives Esme is connection. She’s all about using music to lift people up, help them find their voice, and feel part of something bigger. Now she’s bringing her spark to UK Soul Choirs - and she couldn’t be more excited to get singing with you!

UK Soul Choirs is a professionally run inclusive community choir operating across South East London and Kent. There are no auditions, and no experience is necessary to come try us out. Members get to learn and sing great songs each week and perform with professional musicians in an end-of-term performance. We offer fully inclusive online learning resources, a community-led social programme and a range of membership plan options to suit member's different priorities.
